Student's Council – NRC School

The Student Council of NRC School serves as a vital platform for nurturing leadership, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility among students. It acts as a link between the student community and the school administration, promoting discipline, cooperation, and school spirit.

CRITERIA AND METHOD OF SELECTION

  • Academic performance and regular attendance.

  • Leadership qualities and sense of responsibility.

  • Communication skills and participation in school activities.

  • Good conduct and discipline.

Students of Grades IX and X are eligible for key leadership posts. After teacher nominations and interviews, the final selection is done through a democratic student election process.

CLASS MONITORS

Each class has a Class Monitor and an Assistant Monitor selected by teachers. They help maintain discipline, assist in daily classroom activities, and serve as a link between students and teachers.

METHOD OF ASSIGNMENTS

Council members are assigned responsibilities such as:

  • Maintaining discipline during assemblies and events.

  • Assisting teachers during school functions.

  • Motivating and guiding house members in various competitions.

  • Representing student views and suggestions.

ROLES

  • Wear council badges daily.

  • Maintain punctuality and discipline.
